A warm welcome to our new guest house
We welcome you to Noel’s Cottage, our newly built guesthouse in Buhoma, on the doorstep of the Bwindi Impenetrable forest, home to Uganda’s mountain gorillas.
Designed to feel like you are in your own home, Noel’s cottage offers three separate and spacious bedrooms, traditionally decorated using products made on site together with a large bathroom suite and French doors to a balcony with cozy seating.
This is the perfect base if you are gorilla trekking in Uganda – a home from home where the welcome is warm, the food is good and the setting idyllic.
Noel’s Cottage sits alongside the Nyabubare Stream on the site of one of Buhoma’s leading charitable initiatives. The views from and around the cottage are stunning and the atmosphere of the place both alive and authentic.
The great thing about choosing to stay with us here is that you give as you stay – the room fees you pay are all directly supporting women’s empowerment in Uganda and the work of Ride 4 a woman.
Not only this but we have a beautiful restaurant with open balcony where you can sit after your gorilla trek or after immersing in some of our cultural activities and drink African tea spiced, Ugandan coffee or a Waragi & Stoneys (gin & ginger beer) while your dinner is cooked, and listen to the call of the Blue Turaco…the experience awaits you.
