School fees for children

In a community where homes often struggle to provide more than one meal a day, education costs present yet another challenge in their day to day lives.

Many children don’t go to school only because their families can’t afford it. We believe that ensuring children have access to education is critical. The present and future generations depend on it.

Ride 4 a Woman offers a Child Sponsorship scheme as another way of supporting its members; enabling children to go to school and freeing up women to focus on their own skills and income prospects.

When sponsoring a child, you are covering her/his school fees, school material, daily diets and medical assistance (in case of need).

From our side, we make sure to send you follow up pictures and school reports in a quarterly basis, so you can see her/his progress. Moreover, if you are in Bwindi and pass by our center, you can have the opportunity to meet her/him. 

We currently have over 250 children sponsored through the program. Because, at Ride 4 a Woman, we believe that there is no better way to empower women and all the community members than through education.
