Here at Ride 4 a Woman we employ a team of women from the Bwindi community, trained to pedal sew and basket weave a broad range of fabric and basket products which we sell in our shop on site.

From dining table furnishings and cushion covers, hair accessories, computer and iPad cases to purses and handbags, all products are to the highest standard giving you lightweight, quality gifts to take home to friends and family.

We are also expert basket weavers, innovating and exploring with design and shape every day and offering large to small decorative baskets, coasters, table-mats and more.

All income from the shop is put straight back in to support the women of Bwindi through skilling and employing them, and through all the rest of Ride 4 a Woman projects, such as microfinancing local businesswomen, providing safe water, installing solar panels to houses without electricity, and many more .
