Employing women

Empowering women through training and work

Ride 4 A Woman was set up with the main goal of supporting women, who are struggling with poverty, domestic violence, HIV and other circumstances, and provide a better future to them. We believe that, to have a brighter future, all women need to have the chance to learn and exercise a profession.

100 women have been trained in sewing and weaving. 60 of these women are working in R4W center, making all the hand-made products that can be found in our shop, and the rest are now managing their own businesses and earning a living by themselves, which makes us extremely happy.

At R4W, these women have a space in which they find safety and support, can create strong bonds among the other women, have a purpose, belong to the same family and, of course, earn a salary that helps them and their families to thrive.

Come to visit us in the R4W center, meet the women and learn from them. See these activities that you can enjoy while supporting our project: basket weaving and pedal sewing.
